Supply of 2G biofuels to Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings at the Port of Barcelona
Moeve begins the supply of 2G biofuels to the Norwegian Escape, operated by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) in the Port of Barcelona, with more supplies confirmed for the upcoming months. The company has the capacity to supply these sustainable fuels to the cruise industry on a regular basis in the Spanish ports in which it operates.

Moeve and Bio-Oils start construction of the largest 2G biofuels plant in Southern Europe
The new plant will start production in 2026 and, during its construction and operation, is expected to generate 2,000 direct and indirect jobs. The facility will double Moeve's and Bio-Oils' current second-generation biofuels production capacity to one million tons.

Pioneers in Spain in supplying 2G biofuels for use in maritime passenger transport
Moeve will supply 2G biofuels for 84 trips of Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea in the Port of Algeciras, therefore reinforcing its commitment to sustainable fuels for marine transport in Spain. These biofuels are produced in the San Roque Energy Park (Campo de Gibraltar, Cadiz) from agricultural waste that would otherwise end up in landfills, thus promoting the circular economy.

We supplied 2G biofuels at the Port of Barcelona to a container ship
We began marketing 2G biofuels in the Port of Barcelona with the supply to a container ship operating in the Mediterranean. The fuel supplied has a 24% bio component, manufactured from used cooking oils.
